Pastors Ronald & Rebecca Nkuranga

Ronald Nkuranga is a Rwandan national. He was born and partly raised in Uganda. His wife Rebecca was born in Rwanda where she survived the Genocide of 1994. Ronald's parents fled Rwanda to Uganda as refugees in the early 1960’s. As it was the tradition of his family to go to church every Sunday, Ronald for the first time had a new birth experience in a local church of his neighborhood in 1991. As a young person, Ronald continued to attend church regularly and just a few weeks later, he joined the church choir.

After the 1994 Genocide that claimed over one million lives in just 100 days in Rwanda, Ronald and his family returned to Rwanda in July 1994 where he continued his secondary and college education. Over the years, Ronald continued to serve Christ in different capacities at various schools and local churches.

In 2009, Ronald received an opportunity to attend Northern Kentucky University, in the USA. With the help of individuals, the church, and the school, he was able to graduate from NKU. While at NKU, his burden for winning souls to Christ, church planting, helping Rwandan children to go to school, and fighting poverty and diseases stayed in his heart.

After staying temporarily in the USA, Ronald and his wife Rebecca and their eight month old son, Alvin, were compelled and led by the Lord to return to Rwanda to start the ministry. Pastors Ronald and Rebecca are now raising their three wonderful children: Alvin, Micah, and Kirsten in Kigali, Rwanda’s capital.
